Five Faces Entertain is a secure device with network requirements as specified below.

> It does not require static IPs or Port Routes and all communication is done over SSL (443), so as long as the device has free access to the internet, it will connect to the platform instantly.

> For environments that require additional security, the following URL’s must be allowed on the device (OUT only):
  • entertain.fivefaces.com.au
  • entertain.fivefaces.com.au/console
  • entertain.fivefaces.com.au/processor
  • entertain.fivefaces.com.au/start
  • entertain.fivefaces.com.au/help
  • publisher.fivefaces.com.au
  • files.entertain.fivefaces.com.au
  • s3.amazonaws.com
> TeamViewer does NOT come pre-installed on the device and is not required to operate the device, but if you do so, you will also need to open up communications.
Teamviewer.com – TCP and UDP – 5938, TCP – 80 / 443

> The device is an Android device, so you can manually set up proxies and other network settings.

> The Entertain device will PING the server every 2 minutes to let it know it is online and poll the server every 30 seconds to check for new instructions. This includes media files, scheduling details and so on. Media Files are stored locally on the device, so it does not require a network connection to run and will run in offline mode until it is reconnected to get updates where required.

:!: Please Note: Websites (URLS) and Publisher require persistent internet in order to operate.

> Excluding media file scheduling, the overhead per device for Entertain is 200 MB per month (max) in data traffic. A media file transfer happens one time to each device, and this depends on the size of your media files. Publisher and URL’s also add to the data usage based on frequency of use and updates. This is typically not significant, but difficult to predict.
